Messy Action isn't always just about 'taking action'.
Why? Because creating success and joy in your life isn't always about forward movement.
It's not always about making big, radical power moves that feel expansive.
Really, Messy Action is an ode to anti-perfectionism.
It's about allowing yourself to make imperfect decisions.
It's about being committed to curiosity and unafraid to change your mind.
It's about hearing all the advice from people who claim to know better, and choosing to ignore it anyway.
To follow your gut, irrelevant of whether it makes sense on paper or what your mum might say.
And sometimes it's about stopping.
It's about putting the brakes on the Messy Action you previously took.
It's about admitting that in practice, your idea didn't work out so well AND being ok with that.
It's about releasing the idea that there is some "perfect" way to do things and instead FULLY embracing that there are a multitude of options available to you which all lead to the same destination.
Because Messy Action isn't a one time thing. It's a way of life.
It's a way of embracing our human-ness and accepting that really, no one has a clue what they're doing.
And Messy Action is really about choosing to follow that internal nudge about what the next right thing to do is... irrelevant of whether it seems logical or not.
So this is me passing the baton to you.
May you live more messily.
May you be unafraid of being imperfect.
May you welcome getting it wrong.
May you have the courage to change when you know it's time.
May you listen to your internal nudge more than external well-intended advice.
